Villa Benirrás

Sant Joan, Ibiza

This magnificent house is located in the northern part of the island of Ibiza, surrounded by nature and uninterrupted views to the sea in its north orientation.

Composed of various volumes that are mixed together, a game of “boxes” is created, creating a volumetry that is close to the vernacular architecture of the island. Each of these cubes is a bedroom with its own bathroom and dressing room, three on the ground floor and two on the first floor, one of them being the master bedroom of the house.

Using rustic materials and skylight openings, the sensation of warmth and lighting characterise the architecture and interior design of the home, given that the use of this house is for the whole year, for which cosy corners have been created within this play of cubes, light and shadow.

The swimming pool is located in the northern part of the house, a lower bench than the level of the house, where an open terrace and another covered area that serves as a dining and relaxation area have been used.
